had an awesome day today at the track. Had some s2k'sout to play, some porsches, vettes, bmw's and even a new skyline.
i got the go ahead to issue a group discount. 10 drivers or more and it is only 100 bux for the day. that is a steal to anyone that knows what road racing is all about.

the more the merrier. it would be awesome if we could get a meet at the track. the people that own the track are really laid back, nice people and wouldn't mind a big get together even if you wanted to just spectate and hang out.
Looks like a GREAT deal!
I'll need to make some time for testing my project ...
Plus, I was just telling a friend about the cheapest "track day" that I could think of, when he started asking me about track daze from some advertisements.

yeah, i cant thin kof any tracks around here that are even remotely close in price. there is Beaver Run in PA but its a lil more rickidy and more expensive. Mid-Ohio is a nice track, but i think fundays are like over 500 bux and you need to have a caged car, maybe a race license.
so check out the calender there are a pretty good amount of fundays this season.
if you have a big group let me know and ill make sure you guys all get a discount.
a meet would be perfect casue then you would just have to say your from so-and-so web forum (this info is on a few other sites) and you get in.
again, there are no additional gate fees, no corner worker fees.
you come up to the gate, sign your name and hand over a cash or check and you go into the paddock area for a drivers meeting to brief you on passing rules, flagging conditions and if there is to be an emergency what you should do. after that its ***** to the wall fun until lunch which will last for 30mins. this allows the corner works and the rest of the staff to have a short break and get some food and also for cross over traffic, etc.
then it goes to 4:30-5:00, possibly longer if something else is arranged before hand.
there is a small concession stand with hotdogs and hamburgers, or Garretsville is less than 8minutes away where there are several fast food places, grocery stores etc.
the track does have race gas available. 100 unleaded 110 leaded i believe it will be sold for 7.50 a gallon this year, pretty sure its VP brand.
also, there are a few weekends during the summer that will be 3 days straight of fundays. if you wanna do 3 days in a row, a discount is also offered for that.
any questions you can contact me by PM or in this thread so that any and all questions can be cleared up.
