whats a good brake set up for my dc2?
i have an 01 gsr, the previous owner put a tenzo r big brake kit on it(front n rear) but i want to get rid of it because i want to put smaller rims on my car(fifteens). I am thinking of maybe just putting on some OEM gsr rotors n calipers and getting some good pads. what would be a good setup that has good stopping power and also isnt too expensive? or should i just go with OEM?.....and the gsr is my daily driver/project car
is that one of those corny kits that uses the OEM caliper? you could just go back to stock i suppose if you don't need more for your driving habits. another option are the 23T calipers and redrilled prelude vtec rotors. they will just barely clear a 15"
If you dont want hassle of grinding down things and just want OEM bolt on, I say stick with stock dc2 calipers and get some GOOD i pads and that be more than enough for your car.
