Trying to find a used set of seat brackets for my CRX to save a bit of money and was wondering if they're interchangeable with the Civic hatchback.

 

no they are not.
you might be able to get two three bolts in though.

 

You can make them fit. I used a few pieces of 1.5" x 1/8" steel flat to make some adapter brackets. Takes a little bit of time and some basic fabrication know how.

 

What year is your CRX? If it's 88 (any model) or 89 HF, then you can use rails/sliders meant for 88/89 Civic or 88-91 JDM Civic/CRX. If you have anything else (89-91 all models except 89 HF), then no, Civic seats are not interchangeable, directly that is. The rails are pretty different.

Of course, with a little bit of welding you can make brackets and throw damn near anything in there.
