Default Anyone still running the GT40R on a B series?

I know that everyone is in the s372 bandwagon, but im just wandering is there anyone still running the GT4094r or GT4088r on a b series that runs 9's i know i seen a couple of them like years ago, but a lot of k series guys are running it. I just wanna if its proven that this turbo is capable of running 9's easy with maxing out the turbo, cause im thinking about maxing mines out and want to run nines, anyone still runs this turbo?

There's a handful of guys that ran 9's with the 4094r. Remember that power isnt everything either. Going 9's involves having a properly prepped car and a driver with a fair amount of experience.

we ran 9.6-9.7 pretty consistently on a GT4067s turbocharger back in 2006 -- around 155 mph -- it would make about 750 whp maxed out

we make over 150 more horsepower now with a S372r and haven't touched those ET's again yet

power isn't everything

we should of stuck with the 67mm

The GT4088 can get you into the 9's, but not very deep and not very easily. If you really want to go 9's, I would go with something bigger.

Erick Aguilar is running 8's in his hotrod class crx on a 40r. But Tony is right, might as well give your self some headroom and go with a 42r.

Wow! 505hp and 150mph traps on an integra I assume it must be really gutted ,a built tranny or a low reading dyno??

150 mph on 500 whp doesnt sound right..... unless its in an all-motor-ish body

well he said full-body.. but yeah 505 does not match that trap speed. i would agree it seems most people wanting to make big power r goin with the 372r but im pretty sure jonathon reynolds integra from clutchmasters is on a gt series. i think its a 42 tho. when ive seen people trying to make big power with a garret they usually just jump to the 42

Yes he does do 8's but that car is more of a Hot Rod car than it is a street car.

How heavy is Ericks CRX?

whats the weight limit for HR? Wasn't he having a hard time controlling boost or making more?

1900 for honda with factory tranny. I don't think he's having problems, he just went 5.50 @ 130 at Irwindale. Whatever it was, he must have figured it out. That car is moving.

If you already have the 40r, why not just run it and see what it does.
