Precision Injectors a new design?
Just got my new set of Precision saturated 650cc injectors (PFU 042-0651) and they look different than usual injectors for OBD1.
Did precision recently change their design of their injectors? Also is there any way to tell what injector sizes are since it appears the box has been been relabeled by Precision aka a label on top of another label.
Saw a thread on a d16 site that it was fine but just need some confirmation.

Those are a Siemen Deka Mototron injector. Those are fairly common on mustangs and some other V8 applications. Please remember, that Precision originally used Rochester/Lucas injectors, (the old style). Hopefully they are the same length and use the same 10mm washer fittings as the modified Rochester/Lucas.
In the Motor City of Michigan, these injectors are much more common than what most import end-users see.

Exactly why I need to figure out if they are a new change in the Precision fuel injector line or not... Last thing I want to do is install them and they don't work.
Do you know if they have changed their injectors Shodan?
Or anyone else getting these from Precision as well...?

Any way to figure out what kind they are... Mine are not labeled. Just has a serial number on each of them.
Also are these Siemen Deka injectors better than the Lucas type injectors--in the sense of failing and spray pattern etc..

I guess no one is reading my post very well. I just said that they were a Siemen Deka. Yes, their spray pattern is MUCH improved over the standard Delphi & Rochester /Lucas design. The key is to make sure that the washers and shim are the same to fit a honda, and that they are the same length as their old line (simply measuring will suffice), so that they fit into the stock fuel rail. They should fit fine if Precision sells them as a Honda injector. I've found that my tuner find their behavior a lot nicer than the old style.
Don't be afraid of change.. its ok...
