rod and main bearings for jdm itr. where can i get them???
i think i spun a bearing in my 96 jdm itr b18c. not sure if i damaged the crank or not. are the jdm b18c type r bearings the same as the usdm b18c5 bearings? and if i did damage the crank and have to get it turned, where can i get oversized bearings? also what material are the bearings coated with to reduce friction?

where can i get oversized bearings? and according to this website http://www.itrsport.com/technical.html#body 'Attachment point of the connecting rods to the crankshaft uses a new, adjustable connector that allows the mechanics to manually adjust the connection using a micrometer so they can compensate for the stretching of the connecting rod bolt.' if i have to disassemble the rod from the crank, how do i properly adjust this?
I'm not sure about the bearings but the ITR crank and pistons have a special coating that the lower spec B18c's don't... In regards to rod bolts i would personally replace them with at least new OEM bolts and even better than that is some from ARP (depending on funds). It would also pay to get new head studs either OEM or ARP due to stretch also, that is if you are going to take the head off for this?
How many km's (miles) has your ITR clocked up?

the engine has 60k on it. the pistons are coated, but the crank is only balanced not coated. the bearings are some kind of crystal coating, and the crank journals are micro polished. im not sure which bearings have been destroyed whether rod or main. ***what im wondering is if i did damage the crank and have to get it turned is there anywhere i can get oversized bearings with the surface oriented crystal bearing material like the oem bearings???***
