HELP!! Was in an accident.
First off, my car isn't an itr, it's an integra with lots of jdm parts on it. I guess this technically doesn't belong in here, but there is where I spend my time lurking on H-T, and the ITR guys are really the only members on here that I trust. I was in a bit of a fender bender last night. Stopped at a stop sign and dill nuts in front of me backed into me. My front bumper is cracked, headlights, fenders, hood, bumper and grill are all out of alignment. Im really hoping the rad support and or rebar aren't bent. Anyway, the car has a JDM TIR front end on it. So, I need to get prices on all possible parts that need to be replaced, and when the estimates are done, the body shop just pics what needs to be done from the list. I can get the part numbers, but the problem is, the only number honda/acura dealers are getting a hit on is the rad support (usdm $372CDN, jdm $801CDN). Do you guys have any tips of who I can call and get JDM honda part numbers run for prices?
Thanks for all the help.
Andy
Pic of the car for reference. Hopefully one day I can afford an R

I checked them out but they don't have part numbers or anything listed. My backup plan is just to print off everything they have that I could possibly need, and let the job work what the feel the car needs into the estimate based on the print outs. Ideally though, they want prices from a honda/acura dealer
idk where u live but on ebay theres a guy selling jdm front ends for 1200 so if u need all new front end thats the cheapest ive seen. ive been looking for a jdm front end for my itr but dont wanna fork out alot of money cuz there almost a dime a dozen. also the guy on ebay does installs too. he live in so cali.
I'm in Canada. I have no problem getting the actual front end, but I contacted a friend who works at a body shop, and he said the managers that do the estimates are going to prefer prices from an actual honda/acura dealership to give to the insurance company. This was so much easier when I had a usdm front. LOL

with my old gsr i had a jdm front end and a taxi hit my door and fender i took it to the body shop to get fixed. frist time they ordered a usdm fender then next time a usdm fend with side marker cut outs (didnt know they made that) and finally 800 dollars they ordered 1 jdm fender. so they had a hard time ordering too
it was no problem with my insurance cuz my attorney took care of my insurance. it was the taxi falt. so i think in ur case just have the body shop list the prices of usdm part and when ur insurance cut them a check have them buy jdm parts.
There is a big difference in part prices though. Like i mentioned for the upper rad support
USDM - $372 canadian, JDM - $801 canadian. So far thats the only part number a canadian honda or acura dealer has been able to run so i dont want to settle based on the USDM amount, and then have to pay extra.

If i have time tomorrow i will ring up the local Honda dealer and get the JDM part number. Being in New Zealand, most of our Hondas (and cars in general) are JDM imports and i have a JDM ITR So i can quote my chassis number and get the correct rad support number.
Nice car BTW, do i spy Spoon calipers?

Haha. Thanks for the help and the comments fellas. The problem isn't that I don't have the part numbers, its that the JDM part numbers won't work in the North American system here, so they can't look up prices for the estimate. I'm hoping one of you guys will know a honda dealer that can run the JDM part numbers and get me some prices.
Thanks again guys, keep the info coming.

i doubt thats going to happen. theres no reason for the US territory to have part numbers for non domestic manufacturered parts in their systems.
I had some difficulty sourcing out a jdm front end, and associated pieces.
jdmland is definately a good route to go. frankly it might be jdm OEM but its a "body kit" here.

Thanks for all the help from a future ITR owner (I hope).
I work in a Honda dealership and there's no way we can run a jdm part number unless we can actually order the part here. JDM Front end parts not being one of them.
You could technically try calling a Honda dealer in the UK or in Japan and ask for some part numbers. That's what my co-worker did when he wanted some jdm/ukdm parts.

i never heard of an insurance wanted part numbers?? i work for a bodyshop, and when we have cars like these with "non oem" parts, all we do is get online, look for the parts and provide a price for the insurance.. tell your adjuster to go to jdmland.com and he can get all the prices there... hope this helps.

Thank you thank you thank you. Thats what is going to have to happen!! *thumbs up*
