Does anyones PM6 does this??...........
ok
i am running a PM6 CRX Si ecu on my Z6 engine
since i got it it redlines @ 6800 when hot and 6400 when cold
i know the cold rev limiter to protect the engine
but why is it redlining at 6800?? its supposed to be 7200 hot and 6800 cold....
does any other Pm6's of u guys does the same thing??
i kinda hate shifting @ 6600 when i feel i can go a little more...
i am also thinking of just getting a 88-89 PG7 so i get a better fuel map and a higher rpm redline (7800) if i am not mistaken........ any input will be aprreciated...

The SI computer's rev limit is 6500. The 7200 rev limit your thinking of is from the 88-89 integra computer. unless your computer is chipped it never reached past 6500.
i know what u trying to say
but the 4G Si the redline its supposed to be 7200... and yes fuel cutoff its supposed to be before.... the 88-89 PG7 its even higher than the Si and has a better fuel map.... i met a guy on the track with a stock PG7 off a 89 teg and it redlines @ 7600....
and yes my ecu redlines @ 6800...... and 6400 when cold...... its not a fast tach... its bc i have taken it slowly over to that rpms... just wondering why will it redline that low...... if it was normal......

I belive the 88-89 PM6 is different than the 90-91. The 88 only revs to 6500, the 90-91 goes to 7200. The 8889 PG7 goes to about 6800 to 7200 but i've taken mine too past 7600. Hmm i duno if that was any help, but there u go anyway.
