i have a 97 accord with a sohc vtec motor.(f22b1) is swapping the h22 head on there worth it. and how does that work being able to bolt up a dohc head to a sohc
i belive you have to dremel like two holes into the head gasket. for the water jackets . buy them both and compare them . and take the one you dont use back . its been done before. im thinking about the a6 block and thee h23{non vtec}
not sure if youre going to need the OBD-II head though, since it would be easier for you (already OBD-II)
to answer your question, yes it is worth it. sohc and dohc blocks for this will both work fine.

unless you build the motor it's a waste of a H22 head as the bottom end will spin a bearing @8k where the Vtec motor likes to rev. to save your money for a H22 it's just better to start with a H22 then the to hybride the engine.
