Default J series motor in DC2

hey guys just thought id post pics of my budies Dc2 with the j series 6 speed motor... we saw someyone had started it but we already have the motor and trany in the car and more pics on ohio hondas...

Does the hood fit? I wanted to do this to my teg but on the eg hasport did the hood doesnt fit.

Yeah this is already possible. Check out the issue of Honda Tuning with the two nsx-r's as the cover page. They have an article inside dedicated to this kind of swap. If I remember correctly, there's already a company fabricating parts for a DIY swap for the j-series engines. The swap looks great though, props to your friend.

there's a guy in washington that's doen this swap on his eg. pretty crazy swap, but it ran and came to the northwest honda-tech meet just a couple weeks ago.

he did have to cut the hood to clear the motor.

the hood wont fit but he's going to cut it to fit... the motor jus needs a starter and we're waiting for the 6speed shifter... the cars running off the tl ecu and the interior has the tl wiring harness and gauge cluster and everything works brakes signals hi beams lo beams windows ect... only problem is the fuel pump isnt priming but everything else but stated and i'll have pics and the start up asap...

the onwe issues of honda tunning said something about taking the spacer out of the intake manifold to get the hood to fit i think it was the secdariy manifold
