gas problem...when going to get new gas it wont start
Alright just like what the title says. I search and found a couple but it didn't really help out that much. My car is a 98 civic converted to obd1. My fuel pressure gauge is at 40. My fuel pump (walbro 255) is working cause i can hear it. Put my stock FPR back on cause AEM FPR sucks! Took the EVAP out. Gas cap does the noise when you release the pressure. So I donno what the problem is. Help me out guys, this only happens when i put in new gas.
It starts up eventually though? Maybe the car is having problems building fuel pressure.
Also this kinda happend to me too, I had a no start problem and it seemed like 90% of the time it was when I went to gas up. It just happen to be coincidenc(spelling error) because my problem was a bad main relay.

I donno. Just happens when I go gas up, other then that the car drives and start up fine after like 5-10mins or so. I will check the main relay so see what happens.
I have no idea about this, but I'm just throwing out an idea. If you have a fuel pressure gauge, could you check how the car builds up pressure after refilling? Will it do the same thing if you just unscrew the cap and put it back on, without adding gas?
