Icon6 swapping axles?

Im swapping motors with my friend this weekend...

MY CAR:
'96 EJ6 (DX Coupe)
- B16a2
- GSR Trans

HIS CAR:
'96 EK9 (DX Hatchback)
- JDM B18C

What i want to know is if i need to swap the axles with each motor or if i can leave each of our axles as is? Also, if anyone has any good tips or information of things to keep an eye on or an easier way to do or not do something LMK!!!! any help is much appreciated!! thanks guys...

well u have gsr axles now? if so they WILL work for the b18c gsr motor. im pretty sure an axle is an axle. esp goin from gsr to gsr.i could be wrong tho. u should be fine with what u got, and anyway you dont pull the motor and trans with axles all at once? its easier. but since he has a hatch he might be running delsol axles. so i would keep the ones u have. my buddy has an sir2 b16 in his hatch with delsol axle an half shaft. so juast keep urs they should work

Both cars can keep the same axles....but I would remove them for extra space/clearance. ^^^ both motors are b-series...same thing (whether it's automatic or manual).

Two threads, huh? You are worried over nothing. Pulling the axles is probably a 20 minute job, max. And that includes taking the wheel off, etc. Just use a large flat head to pop them loose and they will come right out. Also, if you don't drain the oil before starting you will leak oil everywhere out of the passenger side axle opening.
