edelbrock
ok i currently drive a 2000 ex, im contemplating buying the edelbrock proformer x, turbo kit, and i was wondering if any one her is currently using this kit, im gonna be using this car often so im gonna run only 6lbs of boost and not upgrade anything else motor-wise. the kit claims to come with everything you need for the install, so has anyone done this install, is there anything i should pick up before tearing down my civic, i just want to make sure between me and my buddys and a decent workshop that i can get this kit installed within a days work,
Unless you live in a state where you have to pass a crazy array of emissions testing, the Edelbrock kit is not worth the money. There are far better setups to be had if you know where to look. Check out the FAQ at the top of the forum...there is a lot to be learned
studs not needed for 6 psi of boost, the edelbrock is a very nice kit and is carb friendly, my buddy had that on his 99 coupe a few years back, it wasnt a race car by any means but it gave the car a nice and well needed kick in the pants, was fun to drive if thats what you rlooking for
