Default My car started over heating after using heat wrap...

It could be a coincidence but my car ('95 civic LS Turboed) has been running hotter than I would like. 195 for regular driving and 210 degrees on long drives. So I got the heat wrap and wrapped my exhaust manifold. Since then my car has over heated twice (240 degrees). It overheated with my thermostat having a few small holes around it and having a fan switch set for 175 degrees and an aluminum radiator. I plan to change the thermostat and get water wetter to help. I am also thinking about getting pusher fan for the radiator.

Is there anything else I should check for what could be causing the problem?

Another thing after long drives the car feels weak. Usually the car is running hotter but sometimes it's running at normal temperatures. Any ideas to why this might be? To go X mph I have to push on the gas more and be in a higher rpm. When it is just regular trips the car runs strong the whole time.

Thanks in advance
