Carbon Fiber Hood=bad fitment
I bought a carbon fiber hood and the front passengers side shuts down pretty tight, but when it does the drivers side sticks up. Ive adjusted the lock, put washers on the brackets, basically tried everything I could, but nothing will work at all for me. I'm just looking for suggestions on how to sink that side down!!! Pleaaassseee!
What brand on hood is it?
I had the same problem with my Vis carbon kevlar jdm style hood for a usdm front crx. One side just sticks up too high, and I cant adjust it with out adding hood pins to keep it down.

you have little rubber bushings on the front that keep it from hitting the frame....try screwing them ALL the way IN. might help. and maybe adding a few washers to the hinge on the passenger side will help. raising one side SHOULd in theory drop the opposite corner
On mine, I had to dremeled out the holes at the hinges to allow for a little more wiggle room. When that failed, I bought some wide weatherstrips from Autozone and ran them on both sides at the fender gaps and above the headlights, that did the job, took care of the hood vibration issue as well.
I really wouldnt like to go hood pins, but the aerocatch's are very nice. Like I said I have washers on the opposite side, but that failed. No idea what brand it is, no markings that I could find. I like the weather stripping idea...do you have any pictures of that.
