lol i was gonna say ive had 2 da's with stock trannys and they were very very long if i were you i would either do a b16 tranny or a Gsr tranny the b16 has very short gears but its good for auto crossing and straight line i also say look into a b17 one im actually buying a b17 swap in a few days and i hear from alot of people that they are awesome trannys. anyway it is all preference just depending on what you are wanting to do with your car.

There are three different YS1 Trannsmissions

92-93 USDM LS - Long Gear non LSD
92-93 USDM GSR _ Short Gear Non LSD
JDM Xsi - Short Gear Optional LSD

just swap out the 5th gears from an LS for your B16 tranny and youll be happy with that .

575 for a tranny seems kinda pricey especially for a B16 tranny. well first of all u gotta check to see if its a hydro or cable and if it has LSD. some did come with LSD. just in case your gonna ask how to check for LSD is look through the axle hole and if you see right through to the other side then its lsd. if you see a pin looking rod in there then its not. do your research a lil bit on B-series tranny's and youll be set
