ok so my friend need some help with his hatch. he cant figure out why he is losing power when he takes off. when he revs it its fine but sometimes it gets stuck. so when he takes off he loses power even if he revs it to 6000 and trys to go. so he has to keep on reving it just to take off. he does it like 3 times. its lags on power when he takes off but as soon as it hits 5000 the power comes back.

yeah its 6 and 16

 

well 6 is temp sensor, 16 is fuel injectors, most likely candidate is code 16, check the wiring for the injectors etc, maybe their fouled, swap out for another set that you know works as a test to rule them out.

 

he tired that and it still did the same thing

 

so then its wiring, check all grounds and fuses, maybe bad resistor box?
