its the radio lock code, whenever you unplug the battery you have to put the radio code, its a security feature if someone were to steal your cd player..code should be on the manual

All you have to do to get the radio security code is to turn off the radio, press and hold preset buttons 1 and 6 at the same time, then turn on the radio while you hold 1 and 6. The display will alternately flash two sets of numbers - a "Uxxxx" and a "Lyyyy." Remove the U and the L and put them together, and you get "xxxxyyyy" which is your radio serial number. Take this number along with proof of ownership and identification to your local dealership, and they can look up the security code for you through the Honda Interactive Network.

Thanks to Targa for helping me out when needed it!

My radio code is on a sticker on the inside of the fuse box cover under the hood. Kinda weird but maybe check there for the code.

Once you do my method all you have to do is call them!

Also your site asks for serial numbers and guess what its at the back of the radio...

every dealership puts the sticker in a different spot. just because yours was there doesn't mean somebody else's will be.

You don't need to do all this business with finding any numbers. All you have to do is take your registration and ID to the dealership and ask them for the code. I did that when I needed the code for my EM1

Not quite. First they will tell you if you bought the car from them. If you did then they will have your serial number and radio code. What happen was I bought my car used from a small dealership. After 3 years of owning my car, my batery dies..Keep in mind my car is a 03. My battery dies not long ago so I had it replaced. I did the 1 & 6 button thing to get my serial number. I called Honda and told them that I replaced the car battery and I have the serial number for the radio but I need the radio code. What they told me was they do not give out radio codes over the phone and that I would have to come in. So I went to a Honda dealership, explained the situation that I replaced my battery and need the radio code to the service guy. He asked me if I bought the car from this honda dealership and I told him no. He told me to go check with the dealership that I got it from and if they don't have it then i would have to call Honda of America....I was like 'What?' I told him that I do have the serial number for my radio. He then grabs a phone and tells me okay since have the serial number from my radio all he has to do is call their Honda Corporate. So he calls honda corporate and then writes down the code for me. I then went to my radio and put the codes in and it works...So what I'm trying to say is that just be prepared with the serial number because not all Honda places have your radio code number. And it would be wise to get it ahead when you are getting your radio code.
