Default VHT night shade my tails

i though it would look good on my car by blacking out the tails. i dont care if you dont like them but here are a few pics of my car and my friends car i did in the same day.

Ehhhh man I'm really not a fan of that stuff, I only like it if you do a super-light coat so it's hardly noticeable, more like just a subtle smoking than a complete black out.

Did you clear coat and wetsand the tail lights? Doesn't look like it because it's just a flat black...make those things shine at least!

lol yea. thanks the wheels are great everyone loves them. i migh redo my tailights and make them not as dark. thay are not really blacked out its just the shawdow in the picture making it seem like that. i did it because i am getting my windows tinted next week. and getting my ride lowerd soon with this http://www.showstoppersusa.com/produ...products_id=75

What did you use to do it? I've seen a hyundai accent with a really poor brush on stuff...

NO!!!!!!!! dont order from showstoppers! they do such bad business, it took three and half weeks for me to get in touch with them to see where my lip was and they said they forgot to tell me it was on back order and couldnt figure out a tracking number. STAY AWAY!

none really at all. when u hit the brakes they are bright as hell still this paint is made for light to shine threw it so its all good

It isn't when you brake thats a problem, it is when they are just on at night.. that you can hardly be seen. I can't see how that is not an issue.

no at night time its very clear when im not on the brakes. i went on a 300 car crusie last night and there were tons of cops out i mean tons like on every single dig out and street conner and not one try to pull me over. but yeah i hope they dont trip about it

I think it looks particularly nice on silver cars...but yea, just be sure it's legal in your area to avoid run ins with the law...but from what you just said, you either got lucky or you should be fine.
