Default Tokico Illumina

i found a set of these on craiglists. He said it has 10,000 miles on them and selling it for 220 just for the strut. DO you think i should grab it? i thought the price was low and not sure if its missing anything. what is the brown thing on top of the strut?? the two front struts is missing them. I think it also missing the 2 gold thing that go below the strut. thanks in advance

I rum them on my Integra and haven't had any complaints. They go new for $100 each, so that's not a bad deal. i think the brown thing you're referring to is the bump stop. The only thing I could see missing are the bushings where it mounts up top, but you can reuse the stock parts for that.

I have no idea what those are. Mine did not come with those brackets and I don't know what you would need them for.

those two gold things are to secure your brake lines. it bolts onto the shock body and lets the brake line safely wrap around it. if you have them on ur current suspension, you dont need them.

Are you sure?

The Illumina's have the brake bracket already on the shock. It looks like that picture is for a different application and not the 92-95 civic/94-01 integra one. Where the lca goes on the rear looks awfully wide and the front brake bracket looks different.

dont buy those used. especially just for the shocks. look at how low he set the ride.

$220 is not a good deal for these.

the brake line bracket is for 89-91 cars. 88 has a slightly different brake line bracket. thats all. no big deal.

Yea it also looks like the rear shock forks are BENT to fit them on 96-00 Civic rear LCA's, instead of using the proper spacers.
