Someone have KYB AGX reviews?? *pic inside*
Hey all I need to get new struts for my EK, but I needed some opinions.
I was thinking of the KYB AGX.

They are adjustable and they are pretty cheap ($400). Anyone have blow outs? comments? Criticism?
I was also looking at the KYB's GR2 non adjustables.

Adjustability is pretty cool, but its a luxury I can live without. Are these stiffer than OEM spec?
Im looking for something thats STIFFER than OEM spec. Doesnt have to be KYB's. Tokico blues are out of the question because they are just OEM replacements.
Thanks.

GR-2's are just OEM replacement. They claim to be more aggressive than stock, but my sister's 92 Civic LX blew them out in 2 years. I won't use the GR2's ever again.
The AGX's are a great damper, but they don't like to be too low. For the price, I would look at Tokico Whites or Koni Yellows. Seem to last longer and can handle the lower rides a little better.

I agree with this post. I actually am on AGX's right now becuase I got them for a steal (~300 for all four), but I really am wishing I saved a little more and got yellows. They do not like to be low, or do to very much work (ie autocross). Yellows can be had for ~400 or so right now
what type of driving u guna be doing, dd autox and how low u going.. IIRC they have lifetime warranty if dropped up to 1.5 inches, any more and warranty is void
I picked up the AGX's and the GS2 for my girls ride. So far the GS2's ride pretty decent and she likes them. Shes coming from 130k+ BLOWN shocks...
I haven't had a chance to feel the AGX's because my car doesnt have a motor.
Im lowered 2.25" on Progress springs. The shocks will be for DD and drag. But hopefully within the next few weeks ill be hitting the track thats an hour away.

I just took off my AGX's and replaced them with Koni yellows. The AGX's were great at a normal ride height and are a good shock for the money. They did pretty decent for autox too.
The Koni's are much better overall and I lowered my car from an almost stock height to almost tucking tire.
