ls vtec oil in throttle body
I took my air intake off to look at the throttle body the other day and there was oil in it, so i cleaned it all out and thought maybe its from the line that goes from the intake to the valve cover, so i left it open throttle body and drove it for a day, and now there is oil in it again. Its a fresh engine with maybe 350miles on it. Any ideas?

oil would get down to his air filter. so from the air filter to the tb

yeah i put the engine together. I know the black box your talking about, but still dont know where your talking about? But is there anything else that would cause the oil in the throttle body? Also im getting oil from around my oil pump thats leaking, i used form a gasket when i put it together, any ideas?
you might need to take it out. have you over revved it? that causes seals to break sometimes. And the side of the breather box, the hose that comes out of it. The PCV is in the end of the hose.
no, it is just unhealthy, no engine needs oil or oil vapors going back into the engine. plug it all up. your vacuum will be alittle low though. but you wont be sucking oil anymore
see. the motor is out of the car right now, and i dont know what you guys are talking about. Also im leaking oil around the oil pump somewhere? It doesnt look like its coming from the oil pump im thinking the whole on the sandwich plate thats for the turbo, its plugged and i dont think it was tight.. Im not sure
A mate of mine had a similar problem with oil in the intake and it ended up cracking the head near the valves eventually cos the oil was "pooling" behind the valves. The hose, that comes off the box from the back of the motor, goes thru a one way valve and up into the manifold. If this one way valve is broken or has been by-passed you are gonna get oil sucked into the manifold. If this gets bad, it has the potential to cause bigger issues.
Hope you come right

no no smoke, so i know where the black box it, so its the white nipple that goes in it.. Its like a white nipple that has a 90degree bend, and then goes into the intake? Where can i get one.. And yesterday i started my car and oil was coming out between the block and head on the timing belt side and tranny side, tore the headoff and teflon taped the block off screw that was put into the head and put a new headgasket on, old headgasket was like 2 months old and was from golden eagle, looked fine to me so i dont see why it would have been leaking...
