Default header fitting on b16

its a crx si and iv gone through 2 sets of headers cuz they keep breaking since there so close to the ground. The car isnt that low either its sitting on tien springs and 15" wheels. my questions are....

1. Will stock b18 or stock b20 headers fit?
2. Should i raise the car?
3. Any major performance difference between aftermarket b16 headers and the stock ones mentioned above?

1. Yes. All B series Exhaust manifold flanges are pretty much the same. The one example I can think of that are not is on www.tunertoys.com their turbo mani for a b16/b18 doesn't fit a b20, they couldn't give me a straight answer why, so I just moved on as I never heard back from them.

2. Get a 4-2-1 header. 4-1 headers usually tend to hang lower. I know personally I had a b20 on HR OE Sport springs with a Lovefab header and it scraped. It's due to the size of the collector, atleast it was for me.

3. The only differences will be the tubing size.

hmmm....4-2-1 might work but im also thinking of raising the car a bit.
and the skid plate could be custom fabricated pretty easily right?
oh and the stock headers would give more clearance than any aftermarket header right?

A header made for a b16 isn't as tall as one made for a b18. Get one made for a b16 and it shouldn't hang so low.

I'm sitting on tein basics using a b18 4-2-1 dc header in my crx and I have had zero problems scraping, even driving on shitty jersey roads.
