Default Rsx harness????

i was wondering if any of you guys have swapped out the Si harness for an rsx harness???...i was told that you can swap out the harness and all you gotta do to the rsx harness is cut n solder some wires for it to plug right up...the reason people do this is to be able to get k-pro and tune it since they dont make the k-pros for the Si's and the reflash is a piece of **** (so ive heard)...but i havent seen or herd anybody do this yet...but if it has been done i would like to do it to my Si..so let me know wat you have to do and if infact people actually have done this

You realize it's not the harness preventing you from running k-pro.....right?

they have to be run in a parallel form, stock ecu k20a ecu and a kpro. yes it can be done I have it done and it's still a f**king nightmare , still having problems with tuning and just had to remove everything , to try and get the christmas tree of lights to come off my dash. I will now be finding a 3rd ecu to try and clear up the problems , and by the time this all gets sorted out , i should have about $7k invested in ecu's and tuning and then im sure hondata will put out that 1 simple box that did everything i paid for at a fraction of the cost. But hey im a trial an error kinda guy.

If you rewired your car to match the wiring diagram of the RSX what will you do to address the loss of cruise control, AC and all of your gauges?

After you have accomplished the rewire of the vehicle and are ready to sell or trade what how will you address the HUGE loss in resale value?

Im not concernd with the retail value since my bubble is my baby and this is my DD, I put give or take between 45 and 50k a yr on this car, I'd lose more than it would be worth on trade in. As for the loss of factory control's , when run in parallel, and wired correctly you dont lose them, your stock ecu is still functioning, where you skip off to the rsx harness is for your engine management, where i am having the problems now are more related to the sensors, since the rsx was a speed density motor as our cars a maf density, more time needs to be put into this since i have thrown codes i didnt even know we had, now just to make it through another yr of inspection, I had to remove everything and return to the factory ecu, and I'm able to clear the codes , but the car is running way below it's ability, I have a a1 block bored to 2.2 with a stage 3 cam, that i have to switch back to a stage 1 asap since I barely idle with the 3..This is not anything I'd get into without having another car as a back for getting around, when this one is down.. you will learn that these cars were not meant to be f**ked with quickly.

there's a video on youtube of an fg2 with a working gauge cluster and running k-pro. vsa and cruise control will definitely be lost with the dual ecu conversion, though i'm not sure about a/c. it does seem like more hassle than it's worth, unless you have some serious $ and time to invest into this.

That is dual ECU set up Vladd, one ECU operates gauges, ac and cruise control, the other operates engine function. If one were to rewire their car to RSX schematics what I described would happen.

Who needs vsa and cruise anyway im a honda mechanic i dont see many acuras but it should just be a lot of tap soldering and messy wire between the two PCMs unless boomsland has already figured out a jump harness THE z3 pcm is one of the most intelligent ever made by honda for a civic its ability to adapt is amazing but it also learns around most piggybacks except for camcon and the aem fic gives it resistance but is eventually learned around if you want full managment Aem has a plug and play standaol for the si for around 1000 on ebay same as kpro
