Default 88-89 & 90-91 Door Difference??

So yesterday I went out and bought ventvistors/ventshades for my 1989 DX and the package stated : "1990-1991 Honda Civic" in small print: "For all models except CRX"

Now I never really thought about it but it seems that the visors are about 1" inch too short.

Does anyone know where abouts I can get the right length visors for under $100??

TIA

the ones you got might have been for a sedan, its all i can think of.

the only difference in the door other than the seatbelts is the mouldings. doors are the same size physically from 88-91

Edit: I should mention I dont mean the door for a hatch and crx or hatch and sedan are the saime, I just mean each chassis' doors are the same throughout the years minus seatbelt hardware and door cards.

That and the 88-89 doors don't have bracing making them quite a bit lighter. I swapped 89 doors onto my 91 DX, there quite a bit lighter. I just had to weld in my own seat belt mounts.

There's no way the hatch visors would fit a sedan without modifcations. Or a wagon for that matter.

It seems like you bought 90-91 USDM hatchback visors, which are an inch too short because in 90-91 we got B pillars that are about an inch wider (for door seatbelts). Canada got pillar mounted seatbelts for all hatches, CRX's, and sedans, so you have the thin style B pillar.

So, you should pick up some JDM knockoffs (JDM = Canada for 88-91). Or pick up the early model USDM spec ones. AFAIK they are pretty common on eBay.
