I just bought a 94 si with no motor or tranny for $700 delivered to my house. Full interior. Body was refreshed, and primered, ready for new paint. Track ***** SI here we come! Hopefully I can figure out where the hell all the extra weight is. . .
I didn't notice what state you are in, but in NJ, an SI, especially with those kind of mods would go up to 6k. I would say a fair price is no more than 4.
