b18a into crx wont start ready to give up!!!
what going on everyone i have an 90 crx si an i just swapped it with an 92 integra b18a1 the car wont start for nothing i did an obd1 conversion an i bought new ecu new dizzy an nothing im ready to give up on the project it was working sounds like it wants to start aslong as i push the car. but car park wont start i checked all my fuses my main relay an nothing i would really appreciate if anyone help out a poor mans project.....
Sounds like your key cylinder is bad, or the started wire isnt hooked up or dosent have a signal. Take a piece of wire connect it to the hot side of the battery then take the other end and wit hthe key in the on position tuch it to the starter where the black/white wire usually goes. It should want to turn over and it may crank.
well funny thing is i bought a new starter for it an it sounds like it wants to crank but i get nothing..... even if i push the car it still wont start for some reason....
i replace the key switch twice already an me an my guy pushed the car like enought to start it like it wanted to start but then it wouldnt start....
ok ok if you car turns over try this.... get a spray i think its called carburator or fuel injector help start something like that. spray it into the intake manifold and it will act as gas. try and start it. if it starts your not getting fuel. DO THE INSTRUCTIONS I SAID MAKE SENSE?? lol like u get wat im trying to say right. you need to start eliminating factors. like fuel and spark and so on. by doing this if it starts its the fuel.if it doesnt its something else

dont try to put your plug wires on your injectors.
that'll never work.lol j/k
Well. did the new disty fix it?
if not, like the other guy said make sure the cams are turning.
next test your power ,ground and signal wires going to the disty

do you have a obd1 dizzy ??? cause obd0 does nto work with obd1 so make sure you have a obd1dizzy just throwing a suggestion out cause i had this problem and it took me about a couple weeks to learn it was cause i was using a ob1 ecu with a obd0 dizzy
so lets get this straight.
1) your not getting spark? how did u test it? pull the plug and connect the plug wire. HOLD THE TOP OF THE PLUG WIRE and touch the bottom of the plug to any non painted metal. have a friend try to start the car.
2) fuel.. are you sure your getting fuel?
im guessing if its trying to start then you have compression ( im hoping) and if you didnt touch the t-belt then you might be ok..if you did touch it then try losening the dizzy and adjust timing that way.. forward = advance i believe. might be all you need.
main relay.id get one just because.

I did the exact same set-up and my crx didnt start either. Always start with a good battery, that was my problem. Even though it has volts, you need amp to turn it over. So, swap it with a known good battery and see what happens.
make sure the dizzy is installed correctly. if you plug it into the cam the wrong way (and i have seen this happen) then you timing will be 180 degrees off and the car wont start. if your not getting spark then i would test the dizzy and then go from there.
