Just bought a set of 16" x 7" Velox VX-8Rs. I liked the way they looked.

But I have a question... before I thought about it I bought a set of Michelin Pilot 205/50 - ZR16s. Is the sidewall going to be too tall once I snug the car down about 1 3/4" over the 16" wheels?

you will be fine I have a set of 16 on the crx and slammed it 3in
205/45/16

 

I just thought of something, I have coil overs and if you are using lowering springs you should be fine.

 

Sweet... I can't imagine a four door being much different than a CRX.

And I will be going with coilovers... probably dropped 2" all around. I just happened to have a set of 1.75" springs from my other Civic sitting around.
