87 civic hatch $400 So.Cal
First off, this car has been 100% reliable to myself for the past 2.5 years, but I have moved on and purchased another car, so i figured before I sell it to a pick-a-part or donate I would try and hand it off to another h-t member. DID NOT PASS SMOG LAST OCT. does have backed registration, will have to pay $189 to the DMV (sry theres a parking ticket too hah)
here is the smog results last Oct.
15mph RPM: 1782 %CO2-13.50 %O2-.08 ---- HC (PPM) MAX 153 GP 328 MEAS 534 ----- CO(%) MAX 0.91 GP 2.41 MEAS 2.01 ----- NO (PPM) MAX 906 GP 2156 MEAS 0048
25mph RPM 2005 %CO2-13.25 %O2-.46 ----- HC (PPM) MAX 128 GP 278 MEAS 552 ---- CO(%) MAX 0.81 GP 2.31 MEAS 2.35 ----- NO (PPM) MAX 845 GP 1956 MEAS 0331
the bad: failed smog, axle boots are cut-axles click-, master cylinder has started to leak, someone FKING hit my ride trying to parallel park which pushed my fender back and i opened my front door cauzing it to push in, also I locked my keys in my car and had to break in via the back window and now its ghetto fixed with some wire and tape.
the fair: missing back seat, interior kinda a mush... 1 vaccum disconnected (could have deal w. smog)
the good: i drove this car everyday for 2 years and NEVER had a problem getting it started and driving. I delivered pizza in this car for about 8 months had NO problems, I was religious about changing the oil.These parts are all NEW under 1.5 years old and: K+N air filter, new key ignition tires, battery and oil pan, also in the time i had the car i have flushed the coolent, replaced the water pump and thermostat.
I really don't think it would take much to get this car to pass smog, but honestly I have moved on and already have a new car, and I am sick of paying insurance on it and have lost interest in the car.
I am an honest seller and have told you everything i know to be wrong with the car, no bullshit here. the car is carburated, so could just use a tune up, or tune the car down so it can pass smog.

would make a good drag project, or a swap car... if not im gonna send it to the car gods.

Oh i forgot 140K on the motor, and its a 5 speed!
im not gonna go get the car washed nor warm it up before you come look at it, i have nothing to hide with this ride!!!
