well my motor has been smoking pretty bad and first thing i thought was valve seals because when i installed the oem valve seals on my supertech guides they seemed like they never sat rite..so i pulled off my header and found that theres quite a bit of oil on the exhaust side of the head.so does anyone know if supertech guides can only b used with supertech seals?or can oem be used as i did?

 

Theres no reason stock seals wouldnt work on those guides.

 

true....im just ganna have to change the seals with some supertechs this time and hope it aint my rings!motor has less than 3k on it!!!!!!!!!!!ill do a compression check today

 

Chances are its your rings.
