Hey guys this search function sucks. I never had a problem searchin the forum for stuff like this but today i cant even pull up threads with the word mugen in it!!

Anyway I just painted my gen 1 mugen spoiler and wanted to put the emblems back on. Whats the best way to do this??

You could have a body shop do it, they might use some kind of emblem glue or epoxy.

I would use very thin double sided foam tape.

 

You can pick up emblem adhesive from a parts store too. I don't know how easy it would be to remove again if you ever wanted to though.

 

3M make some good products for this.

3M double sided adhesive is what I would recommend. Make sure you get the automotive strength.

 

 

Do not use any kind of glue or epoxy, if you ever need to remove them you will ruin the paint.

I suggest using 3M VHB (Very High Bond) double-sided tape. You can buy it in many different widths and thickness. I used it on my wing before I got my brand new emblems and it worked great and when it came time to remove them to put my new emblems on it was easy to remove and didn't remove any paint with it.
