Nevermind... they did not have them in the right size. So I was looking at the RE-01R. I do need new summer tires.

what size do you run? i just emailed nitto today about the release of sport compact sizes in the new nt05. it appears to be the new hot ticket in summer tires.

Do you know the sizes of the nt05 that they will be releasing?

Sounds like you probably have 16" wheels. If you do, and you want a supersticky tire and you don't care if they're not the longest-lasting tires around, consider the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 or Toyo R1R in 205/45-16, or the Kumho XS or Falken Azenis RT-615 in 215/45-16.

Not for our cars. They will only be available in 17" and larger sizes.

You are correct on both counts.

I am running the Falken Azenis RT-615 right now. I really like the tire except for the fact that the shoulders are really large and tend to scrape during hard cornering. I had no problem with that when I was running Advan AD05/AD06 or the ES100. So I was kinda shopping for something different. I think I am going to take a hard look at the RE-11.

Thanks for the info.

Buy them by May 2 if you want to take advantage of Bridgestone's current $100 rebate offer.
