Spark plug question... Please Advise....
Ok, so first off let me say I am new to cars so bear with me... Ok, I just changed my spark plugs the other day and I wanted to know if my spark plugs are supposed to look like this. Just some quick info about the car. It has about 80,xxx miles on it. I bought it last year from a guy in Germany, and I am just now getting around to doing some serious maintanace on it. Hasn't been giving me any problems or anything, just a bit concerned. I am a "sprited" driver. I have taken it on the Autobahn in Germany, and have plans on tracking it at the Nurmberg Ring, sometime in the next few months...

I am talking about the burned part around the metal on the porcelin... I'm not sure but should I be worried about this, or atleast keep an eye on it or is this normal.... Again, I am very new to this and yes, I did serch before postin this...

It looks like you have oil leaking into the spark plug wire tube. Im guessing your spark plugs have oil on them too right? You'll need to seal of the leaks with honda sealer. It's in here somewhere the info.
Not really sure if thats oil on them or not, but when i changed they there wasn't any evidence of oil (atleast imo). Like I said i'm new to this, so I am not so sure... Honeslty, I couldn't tell you if oil was leaking in there or not, all i know is that it doesn't belong...
it's normal, the heat glazes the coating on the porcelain over time. nothing to be alarmed about. if there was oil leaking it'd be a little more obvious and youd just need to replace the plug hole gaskets.
yea it looks pretty normal i assume that was the first and stock sparkplug honda installed since you only got 80k miles on it..but yeah from what the picture shows its normal
Naw, i'm not sure, but i do know that it is an NKG Sparkplug. I think it was the irridium IV, becuase the previous owner was a tuner also...
