where did u get the pipes?
what size resonator do u have?
and most important how much?


i want to make a 3inch apexi n1 custom exhaust
i like the color of the muffler, just neeed good mandrel bent piping
and it not to be super annoying loud.

 

I've got one..it's got no resonator and super annoying loud..muffler shop did it and charged me 430 for making and install of exhaust

It's an N1..you can kinda see it on the pics from the link below..
It's very deep..it sounds good..just a little to loud for me.

 

3" piping from JCW, but I think they stopped carrying 3", could be wrong

Magnaflow race series muffler, no resonator yet

Everything came to about $400 plus the cat, another $75 for it -Magnaflow AKA Carsound.

Pretty loud but good loud not normal rice boy stupid loud.

 

1 three inch straightpipe about four-five foot long, 1 three inch U bend, 1 three inch piece of U from the another U bend about three and half inches long. All welded up and dumped out the passenger side by the rear tire. No cat, resenator or muffler! Kinda loud, but better than straight downpipe!

I run a 3" flexpipe i got from road race engineering and no resonator. i also got the n1 from importparts for 200 shipped. downpipe and exhaust will be done saturday

 

Ditto. though i had a 3" "glass pack" installed....It's got a nice deep tone to the exhaust while normal driving. But if you get on the gas it gets loud.

 

thing is most glasspacks have a "louvered" core which has all the louvers protruding into the path of flow...i'm thinking of getting a dynomax bullet race muffler for a resonator...won't be as quiet but won't affect flow either

 

You guys are putting a resonator just for sound right (quieter)? Or do most of you replace the cat with it (louder)? By the way thanks for the 3" ubend part number Gudeh23a.

custom exhaust shop made mine. 3" piping, cat, and resonator (added later). Hooker AeroChamber muffler. Sounds deep and throaty like an older exotic.(for lack of a better description)
