I have searched around and havent found the info i need.
I have a 1990 civic LX and it needs a new fender. I know there are certain differences in the years and whether its a 2/3/4dr.
My main question is: Will a fender from an 88-89 sedan fit on my 90-91 Sedan.
also, so people in the future can have this info: Does anyone know all the different front end compatibilities (ie, all 2drs from 88-89 only. or 88-89crx will work with 90-91crx, etc)
Thank you
-Francisco

the 88-89 fender will fit
for the 88-91 sedans the hoods are diff from the civic and crx
88-91 civic and crx use the same hoods
88-89 sedan and hatch front bumpers and supports are the same
88-91 crx supports only fit on crxs properly.
88-91 sedan fenders only on sedans
88-91 civic fenders only on civics
88-91 crx fenders only on crxs
they all have different corner light fitments, and as stated before the 88-89 have the corner light to bolt in, the 90-91s do not.

This is true. But the fender is physically the same. The only change was in 88-89 there was plastic screw holes clipped in. And in 90-91 there was clips placed in the same holes to slide the corner in. If you used a 88-89 fender on a 90-91 you just change the clips and use your corner lens.

only differences in the fenders physically are the little plastic tabs, for either screws or slip in tabs, as well as the moldings that attach. Otherwise your sedan can take and year sedan fender as long as you remember to take the appropriate tabs for corner lights as well as a matching headlight for the corner light.
88-90 have a different headlight bracket that only attaches to the 88-90 corner light. youll have to break some tabs to make them fit properly
