i would have to assume that all ef hatches, all sedans would weigh in at approximately the same. give or take some body weight, and fuel weight. you know this is getting locked....right?

2240 LX Sedan sans me in it at a CAT Scale with a full interior.

Since then I've played with the following items that may or may not modify that number -
-Switched to EX Size brakes in the front (+ Gain)
-Switched to Full-Race front crossmember (- Loss)
-Switched to Full-Race radiator (- Loss)
-Removed power steering rack and remaining components for a Quaife Manual (- Loss)
-Removed A/C accessories such as excess lines, coolers, units, everything not the compressor which was gone at weighing.

I'm thinking I may be near 2200 even right now.

I think alot of you are guessing, you don't actually know what your car weighs.

I said alot not all spanky. Like badass, you say it weighs 2000 with you in it and your 280, what year is it? So your basically saying your car weighs in at a hair over 1700 lbs. Depending on the year, if it's an 88 CRX HF it makes sense to me, 120 lbs isn't alot to drop, but if it's say a 91 Si i'd like to hear how you dropped 600 lbs out of it. So unless you have it corner balanced like Ryan or get it scaled your just throwing out guesses. And don't say "i took out all of my interior" the interior doesn't weigh ****, i've weighed it before.

that is dead on, my 88 crx si was 2021 stripped with a b16, and a 1/8th tank of gas.
most of these people saying they were less than 1900 lbs are guessing or the scales were off.

Now i'm not calling you a liar so don't get on the defensive here, just curiosity. So an 89 CRX Si weighs in at 2138 and you say it weighs 1850 with you in it. So for the hell of it we'll say your a small guy and you weigh 150 lbs, so that would bring your car to 1700 lbs. Where did you lose 438 lbs. Actually would be more than that since a b16 weighs more than the stock A6. Is this a full race car or a DD?

I had mine weighed when i recycled an old transmission at the aluminum scrap yard.
it was 2126. I didn't have heater/ac/spare tire/trunk carpet. I already subtracted my weight from the total, which was 148 at the time.

My 91 si weighed 2200 with a gsr swap with out me and no hood, no front bumper and just the front seats I know thats not much weight out, oh and less then a 1/8th tank of gas. I mean no interior just seats and a dash no consol no headliner nothing no front windows or regulators and just door shells. These things are pretty tank heavy for being a "small eco car". But my 90 dx weigh's in at 2140 with a 1/2 tank of gas and me not in it.
