my aunt has a 20001 odyssey that thumps once at the front driver side when accelerating or braking. doesn't do it all the time. check all the bushings and they all look fine. shoke the tires up and down and left to right checked out good. the van has only about 48k. the shop said everything looks good but that thump is not normal. if this ever happen could you let me know what you did to fix it. or if anyone knows how to fix the problems please help me out thank you. also sorry if i posted at the wrong place sorry, this is the first post i did asking for help

 

I have the same problem with out 2002 Odyssey.. I have changed ALL the front suspension parts, so at this point I think it is the CV joint..

 

Check all 3 motor mounts. Especially the front one.

 

all engine mounts are good. just guessing here but could a worn or broken strut mount make that noise? my aunt will bring me the car back friday, so i'll take that driverside area to figure this out. thanks for all your replys.
