I have the AP2 front on my AP1 Alot of people have done this.

i've done it, and I would definately tell you to mod the bumper support. it really does create stress cracks in the bumper, can't tell from 5ft. away but if you walk up close to my car you can see them clear as day.

 

I have the AP2 front bumper on my AP1 and absolutely mod the bumper support. I told the shop that put the bumper on to do so but I guess they forgot and it made two dimples in the bumper that immediately started to crack. Stupid body shop then had to repaint the bumper again for me for free.

 

NOBODY HAS DONE THIS!! BRILLIANT IDEA!!

I'm going to do it and scream "PATENT PENDING"!!

 

Whats up with your lip? Why's it all coming off the car on the passenger side? Do they all look like that from that angle?

Just how the lip comes out farther than the fender right there, it looks weird. I always thought it was flush with the fender.

 

^ the angle is messing you up.

this is possibly one of the easiest things to do cut the edges off the bumper support get an ap2 bumper and ap2 fenderliners if you want everything to sit flush and you are good to go

Damn, very nice. A good example of doing the conversion the right way. AP2 bumper needs an AP2 headlight and a lip.
