I finally got mine back on the road Friday. Im still fiddling with the new soft top as it wont entirely latch yet, so i can only drive it on nice top down temp weather. But i was wondering everyones summer plans for their cars? over winter mine was painted, new tires, and soft top. Now that this is done im going to get some nice volks, skunk 2 springs and an exhaust over summer.

 

Mine is still in the shop. Motor being fully built with turbo setup.

 

if you're willing to spend the money on volks then at least get a decent suspension setup (i.e. good coilovers)

although it doesn't get really snowy here in oklahoma, and if it does, it only lasts a day or two.

Never put mine up either. Just bought the thing, lol, but I plan on doing a Berk High Flow cat and Comptech 4-1 header to finish off my exhaust. We'll see how it goes....gotta get my move done first.

 

I really thought most s2k owners had daily drivers. Don't you guys get alot of rock chips?

Picked mine up in february, got it out as soon as the salt & sand was off the roads. Picking up a berk test pipe, decent intake & new front bumper & oem lip sprayed next week. Then i'll be looking for a nice quiet exhaust.

 

dd mines. coilovers finish my slips stearing wheel hardtop vent my hood. hardest will be the hardtop

 

its not a ferrari, why not daily drive it? i switch back and forth from my civic just to keep them both running good.

 

I got new tires on the front, that's about it so far. I'd like to get a hardtop or supercharge it later on in the summer. Leaning more towards the s/c....

 

these FL winters are brutal...i stayed top down all winter

My s2k is my daily now after my 2000 Prelude. I have an AE86 project car also...(that is always put on hold)

I don't DD mine. I like to keep it as black as wesley snipes...or whoopi goldberg's lips. Besides that, I think it might be annoying to drive a lowered S2000 through the winter in IL.

I drive a lowered civic through that **** lol. I used to DD a RWD car so I'm not a *****...I just like keeping my S2000 nice and clean. Salt ruins cars. If I lived in killerfornia or FL or soemthing...I'd DD my S2000.

I just got Recaro Pole positions and got a Exedy Hyper single clutch put in...or should I say Exedy hyper single on/off switch put in.

I'm replacing my race pads and rotors next month. I'll probably get an exhaust in June. Then I'll buy track time and enjoy the summer.

yeah...same here, late march. But I didn't drive it for the couple of stupid snowstorms in between. I waited till the rain washed the salt away.
