Default Question regarding PnP to retro on 6th gen civic

Ok so I have a 35w 5000k kit in my car now (2000 civic ex) and it's ok I guess but I would really much rather retrofit for a clean cutoff and more light where I need it. At first I was discouraged cause I thought I'd have to buy absolutely everything over again but I was checking stuff out yesterday and ran across this: http://store.theretrofitsource.com/p...c32b7f448ced6e

Basically a PnP to projector upgrade with a conversion harness to use your existing ballast. Cool right? So this would basically be everything I need right? TSX projectors, d2s bulbs, the adapter cable, and shrouds.

What I'm wondering is if the price of $280 is reasonable or if I could piece together everything on my own for less? Also any other advice or things that I should be looking for? Any help is appreciated, thanks guys!

d2s to amp adaptors are like $20 on ebay. you can get bulbs for $50, projectors for 100-120 on hidplanet.

shrouds you can get from retrofit source for w/e he sells them for.

in short if you peice it together you can save around $40. i say buy it in bundle so save time and hassle of searchng, as long as the tsx are clear lensed.
