2002 Odyssey Brakes vibrating
Hi,
I replaced all 4 sets of brake pads on my 02 Odyssey. I did not machine any of the rotors. I used ceramic pads from NAPA that were pretty good quality.
Before replacing the pads I did not have any vibration when applying the brakes. With the new pads the car shakes like crazy every time I press on the pedal. It was not bad at first but now after a couple hundred miles it is very annoying.
Any suggestions on why this would be happening?
Thanks for any help.

Did you get the Odyssey's rotors checked since your installation of the brake pads? Seems like an easy thing for a shop to check for you. And if it's not the cause of the problem, you eliminate one variable.
Hello.
As other folks have stated you either have warped rotors, or perhaps material build up on your rotors.. Take the van out and try 3-4 hard stops.. If the shaking goes away, then the issue was material buildup or glazing.. If not, then replace the rotors..
