Jet V-Force module ???
Hey guys, I have been doing quite a bit of work on my car for the past year fixing er up. Back years ago, since getting the vehicle, I have issues with performance on accelerating later to find out it was due to a bad shift solenoid. While trying to improve the performance thinking it was normal on the accord, I purchased an AEM air intake and Jet Performance V-Force module. Well, needless to say, the v-force didn't help the accelerating issue and the intake simply made the car loud. So, I took them out. Last year I replaced the engine and shift solenoid. Recently, after doing some other work on the car, it simply pulls harder than I've ever felt in this accord. So, needless to say I've reinstalled the intake and mad this baby purrs and pulls! Now, I still have this old Jet unit. I want to reinstall it, but, first want to turn to the experts! What do you think of these? Do the improve performance? I've read somewhere that there was perhaps a recall on these units and that they could mess up the fuel mapping to make the car run lean. Well, let me know. Depending upon what's said, I'll prob end up in the engine compartment again today!!! I'm starting to like this car for the first time since buying it. So it's a Jet V-Force module of part number 67001. Thanks in advace.
Ok, I just finished installing the jet v-force. I took the car for a quick spin. From what I saw on the quick run around the block there seemed to be a noticeably stronger pull. There is a very steep hill around the block and the car screamed up that with the throttle pressed about half way. I mean screamed. It sounded good and revved strong. So far im impressed. We shall see tomorrow. Lots of highway! Fun fun. Next stop header and possible performance exhaust. I don't want it loud just improved.
