Bought a shell and it came with the apexi neo. engines a stock d16z6 with just the power chamber intake. The neo is all set to default and my question is would lowering the vtec point do anything? Chassis is a 95 civic ex 4dr
changing the vtec engagement point doesn't do anything positive.
the idea is to have it set at the very specific point the low cam starts to die off and the high cam picks up.
setting it lower cuts the low cam short, so you switch to high cam out of its power band. not good
