your thoughts on ls/vtec/turbo
i was thinking on going ls/vtech/turbo on my teg.
alot of people have been telling me about the unreliableness of this.
but my though is if its built right with good parts it should be fine right?
what do you think?

well there is no stock lsvtec engine, but you can sell your vtec head and just have an ls turbo and get 250 easy. and you wouldnt have to pay that much for the turbo and ****. im going lsv n/a looking 4 200 whp when i done. but if money is not an issue for you then you can build the lsv turbo and as long as you do it right and dont rush the build it should hold up fine

well n/a is out if you want that much power...
yeah and what do you mean by stock ls/v? if I was you I would start pulling that motor apart asap and make sure it was built correctly. also find out what pistons are in there and that one piece of info could end up making you change your mind about your goals.

thanks with the learning process wade.
when i say stock lsv i mean that it was converted and thats it.
theres no other aftermarket parts on the motor..
its a b20 with a vtec head.

if the motor is built correctly, go get a hondata, a good turbo kit, no cheap ebay ****, and have a legit shop install it and tune. 250 is easy to get to. but... b20s have very weak sleeves.
LS/VTEC Turbo, Or LS/Turbo or Honda/Turbo, You're not going to have anything as reliable as a stock Integra. I wouldnt turbo a DD, you're just asking for problems.
b18a and bs as well as the b20 have the same crank, stroke, and rod. only difference is the bore of the cylinders so pretty much an ls, but you can easily make the b20 hold boost by sleeving your block
For anyone saying that b18 and b20 are the same sleeves, just bored out... IS WRONG. The b20 is an entirely differently designed sleeve. It is ten fold weaker.
