need help! clutch not getting pressure.
so i changed my clutch and afterward i went ahead and bleed my clutch. i had pressure before and when i started bleeding my clutch i never got any pressure. so i changed my master cylinder and slave cylinder since i thought it would work. after changing it i still couldn't get any pressure on my clutch . i bled it for an hour or so and still isn't getting any pressure. can anyone help me with my problem i'm having? and also my gears are going in just like if i'm pushing down on my clutch. i need help since it's been two weeks now that my car isn't working yet. thanks
Is your clutch slave cylinder hitting your clutch fork? Your clutch fork needs to be moving, in order for there to be any pressure applied to your clutch. If there is no pressure on your clutch plate, then it'd be quite difficult to rotate the gears in your transmission enough to engage a gearset.
As for your bleeding procedure, you might want a friend over for the bleeding process, because it's quite difficult to do solo without a pressurized brake bleeding tool.

yeah that was what i was wondering. so the clutch fork needs to be moving too then right. i wasn't sure. my clutch fork isn't moving when i bleed it. could it be that i didn't install the fork right when changing my clutch. i had one of my friends help me put the fork in since i had a hard time putting it back in. my spring part of the slave is hitting the clutch fork. but the question i had on that was is it suppose to move too.? i had someone help me bleed my clutch too. maybe i have to reinstall my whole clutch thing again. should i?
some times theres alot of air in there. ESPECIALLY if you just did master/slave.
kinda unrelated cos your car is new but my eg hatch i did the master/slave the other day. spent a good 2 hours trying to get fluid to the slave. ended up cleaning out the clutch line (with an air hose it was pretty nasty) and reconnecting everything. and then it still took a good 20-30 min just to get fluid to the slave.

i saw this video on youtube bout bleeding the clutch, and this guy added fluid that he added to an oil pump from the slave to push the air out through the master cylinder. you can see it bubbling a whole bunch until it stop. and supposely that's how you get the air out of the system faster. not sure but has anyone tried that before? but yeah i bled the clutch line for hours and hours. still no pressure. i took out the master and tighten it again and made sure there wasn't any leaks. still not getting pressure. looked everywhere on the clutch line to see any leaks and none at all. getting annoyed now since i can't make it work at all.
