does any one know which month in '83 they started making CRXs?

 

Honda is very tight lipped about any kind of production data. We can only guess that they made about 250,000 1st Gen CRXs.

If I were to guess, I think they started production in the early part of 1983. March or April.

There is a guy in Perth, Australia who currently owns CRX #7 or some such really low number. He is a member of that site that can not be named here. But I can tell you that the a Google search of Red Pepper Racing will reveal that web site. Search for member GENONE.

ha ha, ok. i was just woundering, mine was made in december of '83. Ive also heard you can tell which number of production it was by the last digits of the vin? mines 8183, so itd be the 8,183rd?
