any advice for breakin loose the crank pulley?!?!

Default any advice for breakin loose the crank pulley?!?!

this crank pulley is a bizatch. anyone got suggestions on how to break it loose without airtools?

Use a chain wrench to hold the crank pulley in place, then have someone else use a breaker bar to try and get it off.

use HIGH QUALITY TOOLS i broke 3 sockets taking my old one off.

use HIGH QUALITY TOOLS i broke 3 sockets taking my old one off.
Shoot I've even broken a Craftsman socket trying to get one off.

Saw it off.. then when u put it back on use crazy glue.. yeah just keep working on it.. good thing about craftsman is that sears will always give u a new one =P

HA!!!!! Craftsman sux, Im a mechanic and I'd be a broke azz **** if I used craftsman tools. Snap-On is the only way to go!!!

Buy a crank pully remover tool from Snap On and then you will no problems!

put the tranny in 5th gear, release the clutch and stand on the brakes. then use a breaker bar to loosen the bolt. works every time for me.
