But my family is growing and paying someone full price to paint it is not a priority right now. What Im looking for is someone who owns/works at a shop or even somone who knows how to paint cars that i could barter my time with. If you have a shop i could work for however long we agree, doing whatever you need around the shop. When the time comes to paint my car, i will pay for all the materials and help with whatever i can in preping and painting the car. If you dont own or work at a shop , but wanted to help me paint it, i would buy/rent whatever i need including the booth. I have a 92 civic hatch that has the original color of harvard blue pearl. There is no body damage or rust what so ever. I want to respray the same color. No door jambs or engine bay work needs to be done since im keeping the same color. For a decent painter this should be a very easy job i think, but I am not a painter myself. Let me know what you think.
