Should I get a JDM one or the USDM honda one? The USDM one runs for about $150 i think, unpainted...and the JDM runs about $350. I'm kinda on a budget so...which one should I get and how much does it cost to get the front lip painted? This is a tough choice cuz I love the look of the JDM Type S lip a lot, but the lower cost of the USDM one is also very appealing. Thanks.

 

Well, if you're on a budget, then of course get the USDM lip. I personally think that is the only lip that should be on a 5th gen. Also, it comes pre-painted, not unpainted.

But if you REALLY like the JDM more, then I would save up for that. There is nothing worse than regret down the road. The last thing you want to do is sell the USDM one at a loss and get the JDM one later on. Do it right the first time...

 

I agree with Buckwild.. if you like the JDM lip, you might as well save up and do it right the first time....

 

wheres the cheapest place to buy an oem body kit painted?

for integras, radley sold it for 375 for all 4 pieces painted and shipped

It depends on your color. HandAaccessories.com has some colors left and so does hparts.com but keep in mind, oem kits are discontinued now so what's left is it.

USDM lip fits fine and cost less...don't spend too much on a lip that you are going to be scraping up...

 

USDM lip is good enough .. depend how much u wanna spend ..

 

Greddy's list price on their lip is $185...not too much more than the USDM oem lip. Then again, you have to factor in painting costs...

What color is your car and would you be selling the stock SH side and rear skirts by chance?

 

My car's color is White Diamond. I don't think I'm gonna sell the stock side skirts and rear skirt cuz I'll prolly keep them and just put an oem front lip in front. If anyone knows where to get a White Diamond oem front lip, please let me know. Thanks.

 

Check some of the Import Salvage places out. They'll probalby have a lude that was rear-ended, with a good front end. Front lip may cost you no more than 100$ and there may be a good chance to find one that matches your paint..

 

You probably won't find one in that color - especially because diamond white pearl was only offered for one year....

The OEM body kits have been discontinued for several months now. The only color front lips I've still seen available are Blue and Silver from the 2001 MY.
