i have been looking for the rules and i havent found a link that works. i wouldn't mind having a reason to pump up the daily driver. please post up the the rules.

If I end up running that weekend with nasa I will be there either as a spectator or to drive on friday.

 

If I can get my car together and sorted out by then I may be able to run up there. I've been eying this event and it looks like fun.

 

Question, Don: just reading through your cardomain thing there, is all of that still accurate? I thought the car was a little more stickered up, and that you've acquired some sponsors now (beyond the Continental one)? Not that it's a bad thing at all, just curious.

No the cardomain is not up to date. The car is de-sticker'd though, except for the Continental window banner and the "AJ Nealey racing" on the hood. Some of the sponsors I thought I had will not email me back. Tein helped me out with my dampener rebuild, so I will probably throw their stickers back on.

 

^ Sorta updated the page. I did send in my official request to be entered into the contest. We'll see what happens......

duh! the 400 hp unit! this is a time attack, mang! only need to put down one fast lap!

plus, i want to see some smoke boiling out of those front tires exiting oak tree!!!

i'll be there racing on sat and sun in PTE; i should arrive friday to spectate at the UTCC! can't wait to see some fast honda FWDs beat up on a bunch of those RWD/AWD cars!

Still waiting to get word on whether or not NASA will give me a check ride on Friday. So I haven't even signed up yet.
I've been told that I 'may' be able to get a check ride before lunch. But that leave one practice session and then the TT in the afternoon. Kinda sucks to pay for an event, NASA membership, NASA TT license fee and take a day off work for 40 minutes of track time.....

 

I'm in too. JV shop class.

There is a bigger picture here Don. You need tickets punched, and i'd play hookie any day to go race instead of work!

 

The problem is going to be that if I sign up for the day and Jon comes back saying "sorry, can't get you a check ride".
